On your intranet
The same workshop, placed on your network, with no way out to the internet. It is a folder of static files: there is no service to run and no database to administer.
Why put it inside
- The project network has no internet access, and the schedule still has to be readable.
- Security policy forbids loading a tool from an outside domain, even one that uploads nothing.
- You want the address in your internal directory, next to the other tools of the department.
- You want to freeze a version, and decide when it changes.
What it is, technically
A folder of HTML, CSS and JavaScript files. It sits on any static web server, or even on a file share. It calls no outside address, and the public site’s counter is removed from it, not disabled.
Nothing to pay per seat: the number of users changes nothing, since all the computing happens in their browser.
