Convert a schedule to CSV
Drop the schedule, take the CSV. One row per task, the file's dates and the recalculated dates in separate columns, the float and the critical path.
Drop a schedule file
Microsoft Project XML, Primavera P6 XER, GanttProject .gan, CSV or .xlsx table, .mpp recognised. Or
This table, column by column
Check what each column holds before reading. A table read wrong does not show: it gives a plausible schedule that is false.

Comparison with another version
The open file is the earlier version. Drop the version to compare.
When to use it
The schedule has to go into a tool that reads neither Project nor Primavera: an ERP, a database, a dashboard, a script.
Or you want a format someone else will still be able to read in ten years, with nothing to install.
What this page does
- One row per task, in schedule order, with the hierarchy level.
- The stored dates and the recalculated dates, never mixed.
- Total float, free float, the critical path flag, constraints and deadlines.
- Predecessors, with their link type and lag.
What it does not do: A CSV carries no date format, no visible hierarchy and no chart. For a spreadsheet ready to sort, take the .xlsx workbook.
What is read
- Microsoft Project XML, Primavera P6 XER, GanttProject .gan, a CSV or .xlsx table.
No file is uploaded: the schedule is read by your browser, in this tab, and the page is not allowed to open a connection to any other site.
Frequently asked questions
- Which separator?
- The semicolon, which is what Excel expects in a European setup, with UTF-8 encoding.
- Are the dates in ISO format?
- Yes, as
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM, so a program can read them back without ambiguity.
